Netizens Shame Rowdy Football Fans For Hugging And Pushing Korean Reporter During Live Broadcast
Korean YouTuber Ee-soo-nal is now in Qatar to report on the World Cup for Korean TV Station KBS.
One recent live broadcast after a match, however, did not turn out to be a pleasant experience for her.
As she was talking to the camera, four over-enthusiastic football fans suddenly surrounded her, their behaviour rowdy from the get-go.
As they started cheering and dancing around her, one of the men even boldly put his arm around Ee-soo-nal.
Though Ee-soo-nal was visibly uncomfortable with their behaviour, she still put her best game face forward and pushed through with her reporting in a professional manner.
Even when one of the guys forcefully tried to pass her a flag to hold (see below), Ee-soo-nal just politely declined and continued doing her job.
The man didn't seem pleased that Ee-soo-nal didn't want to hold the flag like he had asked her to.
So how did he react?
He knocked into the poor girl (see below) on purpose before walking off frame.
The stream has not sat well with netizens, with many slamming the men for being "rude" and "disrespectful".
"Even if there's a cultural difference, this is really too distasteful," chastised one netizen.
Many also expressed concern for Ee-soo-nal's safety, with one saying: "I was really worried when I was watching the live stream, luckily you weren't injured."
The audacity of those men, really.
