Fans Of Queen Of Tears Imagine K-Drama’s Wrap Party To Be Kim Soo Hyun & Kim Ji Won’s Real Life Wedding Ceremony

You know a drama is really special when you still think of its characters long after its last episode. That's the case for fans of K-drama Queen of Tears, which dropped its 16th and final ep on Netflix last weekend.

The show’s stars, Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won, have become so popular, many are wishing they would get together in real life, like Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin after Crash Landing On You. Both Queen of Tears and Crash Landing On You were written by Korean screenwriter Park Ji-eun.

The cast and crew of Queen of Tears gathered at a Korean barbecue joint last Saturday (April 27) to celebrate the success of the show, and to watch the drama’s 15th episode.

Jang Yoon Ju, the actress who plays Kim Soo Hyun’s sister, would later post an IG story of the gathering. In it, Soo Hyun and Ji Won were seen cutting a cake together as Soo Hyun placed his and over Ji Won’s.

Netizens couldn’t help but gush, with many saying they were imagining the cake to the two stars' "real wedding cake”. 

Queen of Tears is now tvN’s highest-rated show. It has beaten the viewership ratings of the broadcaster’s other mega hit dramas, including Crash Landing on You (2019) and Goblin (2016).
