Talk about things being meant to be.

Keung To, a member of popular Hong Kong boyband Mirror, recently posted this throwback photo on his Instagram, revealing that he used to work part-time at McDonald’s.

The 23-year-old shared that the photo was taken seven years ago in 2015, which sounds perfectly normal, right? After all, getting a part-time job while in school is very common.

However, fans couldn’t help but hype up the photo, and for good reason.

You see, Mirror was recently announced as the celeb ambassadors for McDonald’s in Hong Kong.

Burger time.

“From a cashier to a spokesperson, full of spirit and encouragement!” one netizen cheered in the comments section, while another wrote: “What an inspirational story, a role model for the youths. As long as you prepare yourself, no matter what your origin are, as long as there’s an opportunity, a bright future is ahead of you!”

"You and McDonald’s were meant to be,” another netizen laughed, while one jokingly placed an order for a burger.

Keung To made his showbiz debut in 2018 with Mirror, after winning ViuTV’s reality talent competition Good Night Show - King Maker.

Last year, he was one of Variety’s International Breakout Stars of 2021, and has since made his solo debut as a singer and actor.
