“Of Course Not!”: Roxanne Tong When Asked If She’s Pregnant After Kenneth Ma Announces Their Engagement

Last month, when 8days.sg asked TVB actor Kenneth Ma, 48, if he has already proposed to girlfriend Roxanne Tong, 35, he said: "This is a secret. I can’t say yet. We’ll announce when the time comes."

Well, the time has come.

Kenneth and Roxanne announced their engagement on New Year's Day (Jan 1).

Roxanne posted a picture of their favourite unicorn and pony plushies yes, the same ones they used to announce that they were dating back in 2020. She wrote: "2023 1.1 13:14" with the hashtags "#1plus1" "#forever" and "#engaged".

She also tagged her now-fiancé Kenneth at the end of the post.

And if you look closely, you can see Roxanne's engagement ring placed on the unicorn's horn.

Both officially off the market

When Hong Kong media reached out to the couple, they both seemed to want to stay hush-hush about when and how the engagement happened.

All Kenneth said was that the proposal wasn't anything too lavish, and that he had kept everything "simple".

Meanwhile, Roxanne responded: "Hahaha thanks!" and shared that the engagement wasn't something that "happened in the past few days."

"We'll save the details for ourselves to remember," she said.

When asked if she's pregnant, Roxanne replied: "Of course not!"

She also shared that the wedding hasn't been confirmed yet, and they were only intending to start planning after the engagement is made known.

As for how she is feeling now, Roxanne gushed: "Of course [I'm] happy!"

Kenneth and Roxanne's showbiz pals are equally happy for them.

"Wishing that you'll be happy and blessed forever," commented Hong Kong actress Priscilla Wong on Roxanne's post.

TVB host Bob Lam wrote: "All is good now, congratulations! Let me save up for the red packets first."

He later joked on Kenneth's Instagram that the couple should "Have a kid immediately."
