Seventeen, WJSN, Super Junior-D&E and more have performed during Day 2 of KCON 2017 LA.
On August 19, many fans gathered at the LA Convention Center to attend the second day of KCON 2017 LA and the first artist to meet fans through a fan meeting was SF9. The boy group answered questions that fans were curious about, played games and fulfilled missions. Although it′s only been a year since their debut, global fans gathered at KCON 2017 LA to show their love for SF9. Following SF9, Girl′s Day also held a fan meeting. Hyeri shared, "We are back at LA KCON after three years. We are so happy to meet fans who have been waiting for a long time." When asked who they would like to switch their body with for one day, Sojin, Minah and Hyeri each chose Yura. Yura chose Sojin who is good at taking care of her body.
During VIXX′s fan meeting, fans were seen crying tears of joy. N shared, "We are excited about attending KCON after a while. There were performances that we weren′t able to show our fans, but we will show them at KCON′s concert." Hongbin thanked the global fans by sharing, "You make us feel like we are performing the concert together by dancing with us." After communicating with the fans, VIXX shared, "We are approaching our KCON performance today. We want to perform together by looking at each person in the eyes and sharing stories."
Boy group Seventeen was the last artist to hold a fan meeting during this day. Joshua, who grew up in LA, shared, "I waited for the day to stand on stage at KCON in LA and that day is finally here." When asked which choreography was the most difficult to learn, member Jun answered, "More than difficult, we practiced the longest for the choreography for ′Don′t Wanna Cry.′"
KCON′s highlight is the concert and K-pop fans showed their excitement even during the red carpet event, which took place before their performances. Fans cheered for the artists including SF9, WJSN, Super Junior-D&E, Girl′s Day, VIXX and Seventeen. WJSN, who were performing in America for the first time, shared, "We will work hard to receive love from abroad as well. We are excited as we are able to promote in America for the first time through KCON." Seventeen also shared, "LA marks our third KCON, but we have prepared a special stage just for LA."
Following the red carpet event, artists and fans enjoyed a two-hour concert. VIXX′s Leo and Girl′s Day′s Minah sang a duet of City of Lights from the film La La Land and each group showed a performance of K-pop′s top tracks.
