Julian Cheung responds modestly to wife's praise

Julian Cheung and Ali Lee attended a press conference announcing the runners for the FWD Champions Day horse race in Hong Kong on April 10.

Julian said that although he has never taken any proper riding lessons, he has ridden horses while filming period shows. "I've even ridden a horse in the snow before, which was crazy!" he laughed.

Ali, on the other hand, shared that she has loved horses since she was a little girl, so she took riding lessons in her 20s. "I thought that I would have the chance to ride a horse for a role, but it hasn't happened yet," she said. "I hope to have the opportunity to ride a horse for a TV show or commercial."

Julian's wife Anita Yuen recently went on a Chinese reality show, where she spoke about pursuing him in the past. However, Julian laughed and said that he is very forgetful, so he has no memory of a lot of details, but he is grateful that the programme allowed them to reminisce about the past.

When asked about his wife praising him as handsome and cultured, Julian modestly stated, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There are many other male celebrities who are much better-looking and more cultured than I am!"
