During the memorial service, Fong Fong shared that it was Clarence’s last wish to have friends and family gather to celebrate his life. It is understood that his funeral and cremation were held last month.

"He told me half a year ago that he’s had a happy and meaningful life, so he said this will not be a sad memorial service but a gathering to celebrate his life,” Fong Fong said, choking up.

"I believe when he looks down from the heavens and sees everyone’s love for him, he will be very happy.”

During her speech, Fong Fong broke down as she remembered Clarence. She said he was a simple person, who wanted the best for his friends, family, students and colleagues.

"Can I not say so many things about Clarence, because I have a lot to do later. I am very grateful to everyone,” she said.
