Jolin Tsai Flies First Class For The First Time, Says It’s “A Waste” ‘Cos She Just Sleeps Through The Flight
If we had her money, we’d be flying First Class everywhere.
Jolin Tsai, 44, will be launching her new album next year after a six-year wait. Her last album, Ugly Beauty, was released in 2018.
Earlier this week, the Mandopop Queen posted a vlog on her trip to Los Angeles for the recording of a new song.
Prior to boarding her flight, Jolin was seen having a meal in the airport lounge. She then revealed she had never flown First Class before and had only been in “Business [Class] at best”.
Her reason? “It’s a waste for me to fly First Class because I just sleep through the flight”.
Her recent trip to LA marked the first time she flew First Class in her 25-year long career.
We thought Jolin, one of Asia's biggest stars and who has a reported net worth of over TW$2bil (S$83mil), would be used to the finest luxuries while travelling.
Apparently not.
She was later seen going through her in-flight amenities, during which she said she usually takes home the pajamas.
That’s a thrifty queen if we’ve ever seen one.
She was also impressed with the toiletries kit, which came in an FPM Milano bag. She owns a bag that she "loves very much" from the Italian brand.
Fans were surprised to see how the First Class experience was so foreign to Jolin, with many praising her for being down-to-earth.
Perhaps her latest flying experience has convinced her to splurge a little more on herself from now on?
