Chinese Live Streamer Looks So Much Like Joey Wong, Netizens Think Even The Ex Screen Goddess Will Think She’s Her Daughter

It's been two decades since screen goddess Joey Wong faded out of showbiz, but many still remember her as one of the most beautiful stars of the '80s and '90s.
It's why it's a massive compliment when one is said to resemble Joey, now 56.
Recently, a Taiwanese netizen shared on Facebook that he found a Chinese live streamer who looks exactly like the retired actress when she was young.
The netizen said he was scrolling through Douyin went he chanced upon 23-year-old Chinese live streamer Yuan Zai.
He went on to quip that the live streamer, who is from Zhejiang, reminded him so much of Joey that he immediately thought of an iconic line from Joey's 1993 Hong Kong comedy The Eagle Shooting Heroes.
"I always thought 'Coming out to pretend you're Joey Wong in the middle of the night instead of going to sleep" was just a line, until I saw this on Douyin," he laughed.
Here's a clip from the movie featuring that unforgettable line:
According to reports, Yuan Zai, who has 84K followers on Douyin, is already quite popular on the platform.
Unsurprisingly, the comments on her videos are mostly from people raving about how much she looks like Joey.
"Even Joey Wong would think that's her daughter," wrote one netizen, while another said: "Only following [her] because she looks like Joey Wong."
However, when asked if she wants to enter showbiz to be an actress, Yuan Zai said she's not suitable for the spotlight as she just wants to live a normal life.
