Medical staff in a hospital in China have taken it to the next level when they allegedly put up a used IV drip bag and needle for sale after Singaporean Mandopop star JJ Lin’s hospital stay there.

The 38-year-old star was nursing a flu when he performed his 58th show of his concert tour in China two nights ago (Oct 26), and was rushed to Zhenjiang First People’s Hospital after his gig.

He was discharged after just one night, but that didn't stop the nurses from fangirling after he was discharged. A video surfaced online showing female staff in medical uniform taking turns to lie in the bed that JJ was supposedly warded in.

The hospital staff also took it a step further by reportedly selling JJ’s used IV drip bag and needle online — which was quickly snapped up by a fan.
Grossed out netizens slammed the stunt as an invasion of JJ’s privacy and for being downright unprofessional.
“This is so disgusting, are you crazy?” voiced out a fan. “I think JJ’s management now has to set up an entire medical team for him,” joked another.

The hospital has released a statement earlier today (Oct 28), condemning the actions of their staff.
This is their full statement:
"This is in regards to the incident after Mr JJ Lin’s stay:
"Today, Mr JJ Lin’s stay at our hospital has become a hot topic among netizens. We take this very seriously and here are the results after our investigation.
"We are aware that our staff had taken videos and pictures and uploaded it to social media. There were also pictures circulating around claiming to sell medical supplies used by Mr JJ Lin. The hospital disposes of medical waste in strict accordance to disposal regulations. After investigating, no medical waste was missing. The relevant staff will be suspended and seriously dealt with. We will also conduct lessons for our staff to avoid similar situations.
"We are grateful to the netizens for their supervision and attention to the hospital."
