Jiro Wang, 43, Complains About Labubu Scalpers Buying Up Everything And Leaving Him With Nothing

It comes as no surprise that Taiwanese star Jiro Wang, 43, is a super big Labubu fan as well.

In fact, the Fahrenheit member, who is an avid toy collector, often unboxes his Labubu blind boxes on live streams, and was even spotted posing with his Labubu plush keychain at the Merlion when he was in town for Lady Gaga's concert last month.

In a recent live stream, Jiro took the chance to rant about a problem we're sure many Labubu collectors will find relatable.

While opening one of his super in-demand Labubu blind boxes, he said: "I find it very ridiculous that scalpers are buying out all the Labubu [toys]. And then they sell it for absurd prices. It's really infuriating. They've made it so I can't buy anything [in stores]."

"Of course you can get the [Labubu] boxes if you spend twice or thrice the original price, but I don't think we should let the scalpers succeed. I call these scalpers 'wicked people'. We can't let these wicked people get what they want. I don't support their actions," he declared.

While some found Jiro's rant comical, others agreed with his take.

"Even celebrities can't get their hands on Labubu?" quipped one netizen.

As expected, there were also netizens who just could not understand the Labubu craze. One wrote: "It's just a doll, what's so great about it?"

Well, if anything, Jiro's rant on scalpers just proved that the Labubu hype is still going strong.
