Fans Try to Kiss Ji Chang Wook at Paris Fashion Week
Paris Fashion Week? More like Passion Week — and not in a good way.
Looks like Korean star Ji Chang Wook got way more French affection than he signed up for at Paris Fashion Week.
The 38-year-old actor was in town for the Tom Ford shows last week, where crowds of fans gathered to catch a glimpse of him.
But things got out of hand when one very enthusiastic female fan suddenly rushed forward, grabbed him by the neck, and tried to plant a kiss on him.
The bodyguard nearby didn’t seem to get the memo and didn’t step in.
Thankfully, Chang Wook’s quick reflexes saved him from being kissed.
Ever the professional, the star stayed composed and smiling, though he looked visibly uncomfortable in videos circulating online.
That wasn't the end of it. Déjà vu struck the very next day.
Another female fan made a similar move, charging forward to kiss him on the cheek.
Chang Wook managed to turn away again, though reports say she still grazed the corner of his mouth.
Two attempted smooches in two days? K-drama love lines surely don’t escalate that quickly.
The incidents have sparked heated discussion online, with fans criticising the lack of security at international fashion events.
Many also called for stricter crowd control measures such as barriers and more security staff.
“Not really cool to want to kiss him without consent,” wrote one netizen.
Another agreed: “Especially since it's not in their culture! This is disrespectful.”
