Jessica Hsuan Met Up With Her A Step Into The Past Co-Star Michelle Saram In Singapore Recently
Who knew Singaporean star Michelle Saram and Hong Kong actress Jessica Hsuan are such good pals?
Jessica, 52, is now in Singapore working on upcoming Mediacorp drama Who Killed Her with Taiwanese actor James Wen and she met up with Michelle, 48, recently.
A lucky fan, who got to meet both stars, even took to his social media to share a picture he had taken with them at a restaurant.
Turns out, the two women have Hong Kong actor Louis Koo to thank for their friendship.
Michelle was introduced to TVB by Louis after they filmed 1999 thriller film Bullets Over Summer together. She went on to star in TVB dramas like At The Threshold Of An Era 2 (2000) and A Step Into The Past (2001), which was where she met Jessica.
A month ago, Jessica shared on her Instagram that Michelle had sent her a pandan cake when she first arrived in Singapore a month ago.
"One delicious pandan cake from my sweet friend!," wrote Jessica in her caption.
Michelle, on the other hand, left showbiz shortly after marrying Indonesian hotelier Ajai Zecha in 2010. Her focus then shifted to the F&B industry.
In recent years, she's made sporadic appearances on screen, her last being ViuTV drama Who Sells Bricks In Hong Kong in 2020.
