Chinese New Year is all about spending time with loved ones — and for Hong Kong actress Jessica Hsuan, there’s one person she never forgets: Ying Jie, the longtime helper who once worked for her family.

Earlier this week, the 55-year-old took to Instagram to share that she had brought Ying Jie out for a special CNY date.

“Happy Lunar New Year’s Eve! It’s such a happy day! Wishing everyone a joyful New Year’s Eve! 102 heading toward 103,” she wrote cheerfully.

According to reports, Ying Jie — believed to be 102 this year — cared for Jessica like her own daughter for many years, and the two have remained as close as family.

No matter how busy she gets, Jessica always makes time for her.

This year, she personally drove to pick Ying Jie up from her nursing home for a reunion meal. In one sweet snap, Ying Jie is seen in the back seat giving a thumbs-up as she takes a selfie with Jessica.

The actress also treated her to a McDonald’s ice cream.

Honestly, how wholesome is that?
