Jeffrey Xu Drove Felicia Chin To Eat McDonald's To Make Her Feel Better After Her Star Awards Losses
Feli would have become an All-Time Favourite Artiste if she had secured her 10th Top 10 trophy at last Sunday’s show.
However, the 36-year-old has been the very definition of a gracious loser, revealing in interviews and an Instagram post after the show that she’s totally fine despite the defeat (even though we completely wouldn’t blame her if all she wanted to do was bawl her heart out).
When 8days.sg caught up with the actress over the phone this afternoon (Apr 20), two days after the ceremony, she was her usual perky, chirpy, and oh-so-positive sunshiny self, reassuring us several times that she is “actually quite good”.
“I don’t think I lost anything ‘cos it was never mine to begin with,” mused a philosophical Feli. “I’ve always said that winning an award is just like a bonus and not something that I hold on tightly to, so I’m still able to feel joy.”
It certainly helps that she has been receiving tons of encouraging messages from colleagues, friends, family, and fans. “I’m actually very overwhelmed by all the love and, I’m not sure if I should say this, but to be honest, that might be even better than winning! (Laughs) So the way I see it, I gained a lot as well.”
