Mandopop King Jay Chou, 45, is one of Christian Dior’s global ambassadors and he recently attended the fashion house's Fall Winter 24/25 show in Paris.

While Jay's maiden appearance at Dior's event was one for the books, netizens couldn’t help but focus on the photos which were released after.

Many were quick to realise that the pics posted on Jay’s Instagram were heavily edited by his team.

Unedited clips and videos of Jay showed the star looking vastly different, with some netizens saying he looked "tired" and "haggard".

It was only last week when basketball star Jeremy Lin dedicated an Instagram post to Jay in celebration of his birthday. That photo garnered similar negative attention from netizens, who were taken aback by how “tired” the singer looked.

“He’s only 45 years old… When did he get so old? Is he overworked?” wrote a netizen.
