Jay Chou Was At Taylor Swift's Melbourne Concert, But Netizens Think He Wasn't Invited By The Singer Like He Alluded To On IG

Who knew Mandopop king Jay Chou, 45, and wife Hannah Quinlivan, 30, are Swifties?
Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour is in full swing and the couple managed to snag tickets to her Melbourne show.
Over the weekend, they took to Instagram to share snaps from the concert, where they were given the superstar treatment.
Not only did they have great seats, they also chatted with Taylor’s dad who shared with them the origins of some of her songs.
Scott Kingsley Swift even gave Hannah a guitar pick with Taylor’s Midnights album cover pic printed on it.
Posting a snap of the console area, Jay wrote: "I'm here to observe. Thank you to Taylor Swift's team for providing such a great spot. The sound control is also excellent."
In another pic, he shared that before his own concerts, he is usually in this area adjusting the sound control.
"This time, I'm here listening to someone else's concert, it feels very special,” he said.
His pics created a buzz on Weibo but not for reasons you might expect.
Some netizens noticed that unlike Taylor’s team and invited guests, Jay was seated in an area labelled "public relations, sponsors, self-purchased seats" and questioned if he had bought the tickets himself or obtained them through other channels.
There were snide remarks like "Why are you sitting on a small stool next to the sound control booth? Others are invited to private boxes” and “Getting tickets from the PR and trying to pretend [he was] invited by Taylor Swift”.
Someone also wrote: “Actually there’s nothing wrong with chasing stars”, basically reducing Jay to just a fanboy.
Some sarcastic netizens also told Jay to “learn from Taylor’s concert” and not “hide in [his] own world thinking [he is] still number one”.
His cool response?
"I only see what I want to see. No problem," he wrote along with a laughing emoji.
And this is why we love Jay Chou.
