Jay Chou spends some quality time with his godchildren
The multi-hyphenate attended an art class with the two kids
Taiwanese multi-hyphenate Jay Chou took some time out of his busy schedule recently to attend an art class together with his godchildren, Taiwanese singer Will Liu’s son, Ian Liu, and daughter, nicknamed “Little Puff”.
Jay and Will’s wife, Taiwanese actress Vivi Wang, uploaded pictures of their outing online earlier this week.
“It’s not enough to just learn music, you have to develop your art skills in order to improve your temperament as well,” Vivi wrote in her post, making a play on words with Jay’s signature “Aiyo” catchphrase. She also revealed that while Ian and Little Puff focused on their art pieces, Jay was busy with their paint palettes, helping the two kids with their art.
In the pictures, Jay can be seen sitting seriously beside Ian, holding on to the budding artist’s palette, with Little Puff determinedly smearing paint onto canvas in another picture.
After seeing the pictures, Will, who is currently overseas, couldn’t help but to praise Jay on his Weibo, writing, “While I’m not at home… Jay has really stepped up to fulfil his duties as [the children’s] godfather.”
Jay and Will, who are known to be good friends, have adopted each other’s children as their own godchildren. Jay has also been spotted bringing Ian out for a meal together in the past.
