Jay Chou photobombs Will Liu’s selfie (and it backfires)

Taiwanese artistes Will Liu and Jay Chou are known to be best buddies and the multi-hyphenate i.e., Jay made a special appearance in Will’s recent selfies with his daughter.

Recently, Will posted a series of selfies taken together with his daughter on his Facebook account, to the delight of his followers, who noticed that there was a “surprise guest” in the photos. On the left-hand side of the photos a mischievous-looking Jay, wearing a black beanie and sporting a beard, can be seen darting into frame.

As this is the first “sighting” of the 38-year-old since he became a father for the second time, fans couldn’t help but to comment on Jay’s weight gain, with one writing, “Hannah [Jay’s wife], who just gave birth for the second time didn’t put on any weight, but you did instead!”

Will leapt to the defence of his good friend, jokingly writing, “Those who commented about his weight gain, watch your words!” and “With me around, there wouldn’t be any weight gained.”

He also joked that Jay had grown out his beard so that he will be harder to recognise in public.

Jay tied the knot with Taiwanese model-actress Hannah Quinlivan in in January 2015, and welcomed their daughter Hathaway to the family in the same year. Hannah gave birth to their second child, a boy, earlier this month.
