Jay Chou Fans Fill Up 7 Floors Of Paris Department Store Just To Catch A Glimpse Of Him

Mandopop King Jay Chou, 44, was in Paris last weekend for his Carnival World Tour. While he was there, he held a fan meet at the La Samaritaine, a luxury department store, which was also where he shot the music video for his song ‘Greatest Works of Art’ in 2022.

While we know that Jay is one of the most popular Chinese musicians of our time, we didn't expect him to command such a strong fan base in France.

Hordes of fans showed up at the La Samaritaine, crowding all seven floors simply to catch a glimpse of the star.

Fans braved the crowds to catch Jay in the flesh

Jay would later share photos of the event on Instagram with the caption: “It feels so great to have had the opportunity to meet you [guys] right after my concert in Paris. Come check out the spot where I play the piano in the MV, and don’t forget to tag me in your photos!”

Fans have since shared clips of Jay’s fan meet.

“The king of all kings is the coolest! You love Paris, Paris loves you, [and] we love you even more!” gushed a fan.

“I’m so jealous of his fans in Paris,” read a comment from another fan, while others asked that the singer hold more fan meets at other locations in the future.
