Japanese Talent Agency Boss Arrested For Allegedly Sexually Assaulting Underage Idol

Hiroshi Torimaru, the 39-year-old president of the Japanese talent agency GO Little by Little, has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting an underage female idol who was signed to his agency.

The idol joined the agency at age 14 and was allegedly subjected to abuse at 15.

According to Fuji News Network, Hiroshi is suspected of committing at least 12 indecent acts against the idol between April 2021 and October 2022, when she was 16 to 17, at hotels in Tokyo, despite knowing she was underage.

He would initially tell her he had "important matters to discuss," then lure her to hotel rooms under the pretext of “taking photos to be sold to fans.”

Hiroshi would allegedly demand that she pose in revealing positions for inappropriate videos and would then grope her.

Subsequently, he became more brazen, simply sending her the hotel room number and telling her to come over.

After enduring the abuse for five years, she finally reached her breaking point and reported the incidents to the police in March of this year.

She told investigators that each time she was summoned to the hotel, she felt deeply distressed, but chose to remain silent out of fear.

"I felt that if I refused, I wouldn't be able to continue as an idol, so I just had to endure it,” she said.

When questioned by the police, Hiroshi admitted to some of the acts but denied abusing his position.

He believed they were in a “serious relationship” and that relationships between managers and performers were "not uncommon in the industry."
