Japanese Boyband Spotted At Dhoby Ghaut By Fans... As Well As One Non-Fan Whose Comment Has Gone Viral
It’s always amusing how some people just happen to run into celebrities in everyday places and make fans insanely jealous, only to be like: “Wait… who’s that even?”
Recently (Jan 3), a netizen took to Xiaohongshu to swoon over a Japanese boyband that they saw at Gardens By The Bay.
"This is who I bumped into in Singapore!! So handsome, so handsome," they raved while hashtagging the six-member boy group, SixTONES.
In the clip, the members — Yugo Kochi, Taiga Kyomoto, Juri Tanaka, Hokuto Matsumura, Jesse and Shintaro Morimoto — all dressed casually, appeared to be filming a variety show, while surrounding fans were busy snapping away with their phones.
The video quickly caught the attention of fellow supporters, with many gushing over the group showing up in full force and dubbing it a “full family portrait” moment.
"They went overseas! And it's six of them together!" one raved in excitement. Others noted how busy the group is considering they were just performing at the Marine Messe Fukuoka in Japan the day before.
But then there was this one comment which probably got fans super envious and infuriated at the same time.
"I saw these few at Dhoby Ghaut too. But I don't know them, I don't know who," they said nonchalantly.
Yes, they even referred to the boys as "these few".
