Jam Hsiao Live Streamed His Concert For Free And Helped Raise S$100,000 While Doing So

With concerts all around the world getting cancelled because of the COVID-19 outbreak, music fans have been left wondering when's the next time they would be able to hear their favourite singers live.

Jam Hsiao had a very novel solution to this problem. The Taiwanese singer partnered up with online platform Kuaishou to hold his first-ever live stream concert. Although there were no fancy props, outfits or stage lights, the gig raised NT$2.18mil (S$100,000), which will go into a fund that's been specially set up to support medical personnel.
