Jacky Wu Plans To Give All His Money To Charity, Says His 4 Kids Can Make Their Own Living

He continued, “If I do retire from showbiz, I’ll probably end up doing research and development. I like working in a factory environment.”

He then surprised everyone when he said he would donate all his money to charity. Jacky explained, “My kids don’t need their dad to leave any money for them. They can make a living for themselves. They’re able to contribute to society on their own.”

Jacky has four children, Sandy, 30, Vivian, 28, Olivia, 25 and Rick, 22.

Sandy and Rick have followed in their father’s footsteps and are in showbiz, though Rick got into trouble in 2018 for making a bomb threat which he later said was a joke.

While its unclear what Jacky’s net worth is, he’s consistently on the list of top earning Taiwanese celebrities.

Last year, he made NT$88mil (S$4.15mil) from hosting alone, which, FYI, is a far cry from what he used to earn before COVID-19 hit.

In pre-pandemic days, he’s estimated to make between S$5mil and S$8mil from hosting and millions more from his many endorsement deals.

Jacky is also the boss of multiple businesses, including a talent agency, and has fingers in F&B, retail and even LED manufacturing.
