Jackie Chan’s Daughter Etta Ng Comes Out As Gay

The troubled 17-year-old daughter of Jackie Chan and former beauty queen Elaine Ng has once again made the headlines, this time for her coming out on social media last night (Oct 5).

Etta Ng, who also recently shaved her head, Instagrammed a photo of herself against a rainbow-hued backdrop with the caption: “In case no one got the memo, I’m gay.”

The caption was later replaced with hashtags #lgbtqai, #lgbt, #lesbian and #androgynous.

Her girlfriend is Canadian social media star Andi Autumn, 30, to whom Etta has been linked to since June this year. The duo is reportedly living together in a rented apartment in Hongkong’s North Point.

Andi has openly declared on Instagram that she is dating Etta with a post showing the two girls cuddling, saying: “We've encountered a lot of discrimination from family, friends, and the Hong Kong society...But none of it matters when I know every morning your [sic] going to be next to me. I love you.”

Etta’s mother Elaine has reportedly given the relationship her blessing. “At least I don’t have to take care of grandkids!" she said, laughing. "Etta is someone who needs a companion, and that girl can accompany her. Sexual orientation doesn’t matter. The most important thing is that the person can take care of my daughter, have a kind heart, and loves her.”

Meanwhile, Etta's estranged dad Jackie Chan has yet to publicly comment on the news.
