K-Pop Idol Covers Her Nose Next To Stinky Fans At Airport, Then Posts About How Much She Loves Showering

For those who don't have the habit of showering before heading out, this one's for you.

In a clip that has gone viral, Korean K-pop idol Jang Wonyoung was surrounded by enthusiastic fans at Seoul's Incheon Airport. 

Instead of greeting them with a wave, the 20-year-old member of South Korean girl group IVE acknowledged them in a really interesting way.

She frowned before covering her nose with her hand like she smelled something foul.

Wonyoung then quickly composed herself and flashed a smile at her fans.

After the noxious incident, Wonyoung took to Bubble, a subscription-based K-pop app, to share a message.

She emphasised how she loves to shower and is a clean freak, leading netizens to think she was hinting to her fans to shower before meeting her. 

Many were tickled by Wonyoung's reaction, and were reminded of how SNSD's Yoona faced a similar situation earlier this year.

They also brought up an old post shared by K-pop group NMIXX, urging fans to shower before attending their concert. 

However, there were also some netizens who felt Wonyoung was being disrespectful to her supporters.

They argued that, as a public figure, Wonyoung should have just endured the stench or at least have reacted more subtly.
