Five years ago, Hongkong actresses Carina Lau and Rosamund Kwan were rumoured to have fallen out after 20 years of friendship when the former was spotted indulging in her favourite activity — hiking, of course — with Taiwanese billionaire Pierre Chen just days after Rosamund announced her split from him.

Rosamund was not pleased — wouldn’t you react the same way if you saw your BFF and ex hanging out so soon after your breakup? — and slammed the two of them for “not considering other people’s feelings”. What followed was a rumoured cold war between Carina and Rosamund, who would go on to deliberately avoid each other at public events. Awkward.
