Huang Xiaoming Says He Ate 5 Bowls Of Cup Noodles In One Sitting; Shocked Netizens Want Him To Live Stream Himself Eating As Proof
Remember in late 2020, when Chinese actor Huang Xiaoming, 45, made the headlines for his extreme diet?
The star had opened up about his weight-loss journey more than once, revealing that he lost 9kg through fasting for his role in the movie A Cover-Up, in which he plays a really gaunt-looking taxi driver. He then lost another 3kg in the following three weeks, shocking many with his extreme ‘diet’.
And now, two years later, it seems like Xiaoming is completely over his dieting days.
Earlier this week, he took to his Weibo page to share a pic of four empty bowls and a half-eaten bowl of instant cup noodles with the caption: “Waiting for the plane at the airport, I couldn’t resist and… inhaled four cups of instant noodles! It’s delicious! Should I finish the last bowl?”
Four minutes after the post went up, Xiaoming shared another pic, this time, featuring five empty bowls. “I finished the fifth bowl too,” he wrote, and capped it off with a laughing emoji.
Netizens were shocked by his post, or rather, his appetite. Many refused to believe that he was really able to finish five bowls of instant noodles in one sitting, and flooded the comments section in disbelief.
When one netizen commented “I don’t believe that you finished it by yourself. Unless you live stream yourself eating the last bowl.” Xiaoming responded with this cheeky message: “I finished it already… it’s all finished, my blood sugar is rising, I’m dizzy.”
Still, there were people who were unconvinced. “Can you do a performance of yourself eating ten bowls?” challenged one netizen, while the others requested for a live stream of him eating as “proof”.
Do we believe him?
