Huang Xiaoming And Angelababy’s 5-Year-Old Son’s Face Revealed In Photos For The First Time

Chinese stars Huang Xiaoming, 45, and Angelababy, 34, divorced in January last year, six years after tying the knot in an extravagant fairytale wedding. 

The couple now shares custody of their five-year-old son, nicknamed “Little Sponge”. 

Both Xiaoming and Angelababy have been very protective of their son, and the little one’s face has never been fully revealed to the public. They have also taken extra care to never post photos with Little Sponge’s front view, and the kid is always seen wearing a mask during outings.

However, it seems like Xiaoming might have unintentionally revealed his son’s face in a series of pics that he posted on Weibo yesterday (Mar 9). 

The actor celebrated International Women’s Day (Mar 8) with his mum and grandmother and took to his social media page to document the happy occasion. 

The thing that caught the attention of netizens, however, was that both elderly ladies were seated in front of a wall which displayed two framed pictures of a toddler. 

Many believed that the photos are of Little Sponge and were extremely surprised to see the kid’s face for the first time.

The young kid in the photos, who is presumably Little Sponge, could be seen posing in a cap in one of the photos, and pointing towards the camera in the other. 

The pictures went viral in no time, with netizens commenting that he seemed to “resemble Angelababy more than Huang Xiaoming”.

Aside from Little Sponge’s portraits, Xiaoming’s Weibo photos went viral for another reason. 

The actor has been rumoured to be dating Chinese influencer Ye Ke, and many netizens found reason to believe that the latter has already met Xiaoming’s family. 

Why? Because Xiaoming’s mother was photographed using the same plate that appeared on Ye Ke’s social media post. 

And it must be mentioned that said plates aren’t your usual everyday tableware — they appear to be Versace dinner plates, which cost almost S$300 a pop.

Though some netizens jumped to the conclusion they were going to “hear wedding bells soon”, others felt like it could’ve simply been “a coincidence”. 

“It’s quite common to see [people] using the same type of plates,” reasoned one netizen. 

Angelababy and Xiaoming were believed to have reconciled earlier this year as the latter had been spotted wearing his wedding ring. However, these recent photos have had fans of the ex-couple thinking that they were, perhaps, being too optimistic.
