The husband of veteran Hongkong singer and cooking show host Maria Cordero, Rick da Silva, passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of Nov 5 after a three-year battle with lung cancer. Maria, 66, was so devastated that she has refused to see anyone.

Last night (Nov 8), Maria, who is affectionately known as Fei Ma, shared a clip on Facebook, thanking everyone for their concern and reassured that she was doing fine. Choking back tears, she confessed she was hit hard by Rick’s death as it was very sudden.
