Hongkong Actress Fala Chen Is Reportedly Joining The Cast Of Marvel’s Shang-Chi

Looks like there’ll be a new star joining the already star-studded cast of Marvel’s latest superhero film Shang-Chi: The Legend of the Ten Rings. Shang-Chi, which was announced last year, is Marvel’s first film featuring a Chinese lead, and it stars Chinese-Canadian actor Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, while Hongkong actor Tony Leung plays the nefarious The Mandarin.

And now, at least according to reports, Hongkong actress Fala Chen has joined the production, and will be playing an important role in the movie.

This time, Level 2 had noticeably more people around, from teenagers and tourists to older shoppers. More importantly, shoppers were actually interacting with the stalls, trying things on and making purchases, rather than simply browsing and walking through. There are still plenty of shuttered units, and Level 2 remains much quieter than the ever-busy ground floor, but the atmosphere felt noticeably livelier during our visit. Bugis Street is also hosting its “Somewhere @ Bugis Street” weekend events as part of its ongoing efforts to bring more activity to the area.
