Hongkong actor Felix Wong Yat Wah has revealed that his wife of 32 years, former actress Leung Kit Wah, died of organ failure on Tuesday (May 26) after seven years of battling acute myeloid leukaemia, a cancer of the blood and bone marrow. She was 59.

In an interview with Hongkong media yesterday (May 27), Felix shared that his wife was admitted to the intensive care unit a week ago as she was feeling unwell. Unfortunately, her condition deteriorated rapidly, and she passed away at about 4pm two days ago.

According to Felix, Kit Wah was smiling in her final moments and did not feel much pain. Before she breathed her last, she reminded their daughter, actress Adrian Wong, to take care of her father. She also asked the both of them to take good care of their dogs at home.

“I believe our pets who have left are now playing with my wife,” said the 58-year-old actor.
