16-Yr-Old Daughter Of Single’s Inferno Host Accused Of Undergoing Plastic Surgery

When you are the daughter of a Single’s Inferno host, even your Instagram glow-up can spark a full-blown internet debate.

Hong Jin Kyung’s 15-year-old daughter, Rael, recently went viral after sharing photos where she looked dramatically different, almost idol-like, in fact.

While some felt it was just filters or even a glow-up, many netizens jumped to conclusions, with some speculating the underage teen had secretly gone under the knife.

Jin Kyung shut down rumours, and shared photos of her daughter before and after photo editing. The Single's Inferno panellist also posted Instagram screenshots of chats with friends on February 8, joking that her daughter was driving her crazy with her use of beauty apps.

“Rael, isn’t this basically fraud?” she wrote.

“Some app made her look like some kind of Chinese beauty,” she complained before adding that, "I've become a mother who shaved down her underage daughter's jaw... I'm freaking out because of her!" 

In a follow-up post, Jin Kyung shared screenshots of her conversation with Rael’s consent, in which the teenager explained that she had edited her photos to “protect her mental state".

Jin Kyung was having none of that and replied that she should "just accept [her] bare face and live as [herself]".

"So what if you have a slightly square jaw, so what if you have a bit of cheek fat. That's Kim Rael,” said Jin Kyung.
