HK Actress Elaine Jin Diagnosed With Breast Cancer Less Than 2 Years After Beating Cervical Cancer

Veteran Hongkong actress Elaine Jin has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

The 66-year-old uploaded a video on her YouTube channel on March 3 to share the news, which she found out about just after Chinese New Year.

Elaine was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2019, and was open about her struggles with chemotherapy.

At that time, she was advised by doctors to undergo six rounds of chemotherapy after she had surgery to remove her appendix, lymph nodes, uterus, as well as her ovaries. Although the process caused most of her hair to fall out and put her in “excruciating pain”, Elaine was happy to announce that she had beat her cancer into remission.
