The three ladies of S.H.E parted ways with their longtime label, HIM International Music, in 2018 when their respective contracts with the company ended. Selina Jen, Hebe Tien and Ella Chen were with HIM for 17 years, and the company reportedly trademarked the group’s name years ago.

This raised questions on whether the ladies would still be able to perform as a S.H.E as HIM also owns the rights to all the songs the trio released while they were with the company. While no details have been released to the public, they were believed to have come to an understanding, and there were no issues with copyright… Until now.
