Even Weinstein’s wife, Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman, has announced that she’s leaving him. “My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions,” she said. So what has been Harvey’s response to all the allegations? He released a bizarre statement apologising for his actions, but not before emphasising that he came of age in the “60s and 70s, when all the rules about behaviours and workplaces were different”. Yikes. And the last we heard, he’s reportedly planning to sue the New York Times.

In the ’90s, the actress was invited to a business meeting by Weinstein in his room at a Beverly Hills hotel, where he appeared in a bathrobe and asked her for a massage. After she declined, he asked her to watch him shower, Judd revealed to the New York Times. “How do I get out of the room as fast as possible without alienating Harvey Weinstein?” Judd said she remembers thinking. “I said no, a lot of ways, a lot of times, and he always came back at me with some new ask.”

The actress wrote in an Instagram post that Weinstein made a move on her when she was just 17. “When I arrived reception told me to go to his room. He opened the door in his bathrobe. I was incredibly naive and young and it did not cross my mind that this older, unattractive man would expect me to have any sexual interest in him. After declining alcohol and announcing that I had school in the morning I left, uneasy but unscathed. A few years later he asked me if he had tried anything with me in that first meeting.I realized he couldn't remember if he had assaulted me or not.”

When she was 23, the Charmed star reached a $100,000 settlement with Weinstein after an incident in a hotel room during the Sundance Film Festival. McGowan declined to elaborate, but had seemingly alluded to Weinstein in the past. After the exposé, she also began calling out actors, which include Matt Damon and Ben and Casey Affleck, who are all known to be close to Weinstein, for their silence on the matter. Ben Affleck has since condemned the producer’s actions.

The actress’s mother revealed in a radio interview that Weinstein had sexually harassed her daughter during a meeting at his suite in Paris. “He operated with her the exact same way he acted with all the others, under the pretext of a professional meeting, of a script that had to get to her with a nice part into the bargain,” said Eva’s mum, Marlene Jobert. “Since his office was also in his hotel suite, she [Eva] followed him, and the exact same thing happened to her as to the others. She managed to escape, but he threatened to destroy her professionally.” She also revealed that Eva had kept mum all these years out of fear of Weinstein ruining her career.
Eva has since revealed that she did not discuss what happened before "because I wanted to maintain my privacy, but I understand it is important to do so as I hear about other women’s experiences.” She also revealed that her encounter with Weinstein ended only when she had to “push him off.”

The star has revealed that during the release of her 1998 film Playing By Heart, Weinstein made unwanted advances on her in a hotel room, which she rejected. “As a result, [I] chose never to work with him again and warn others when they did,” she said. “This behaviour towards women in any field, any country is unacceptable.”

Suicide Squad actress Cara Delevingne is one of the latest to reveal how she was allegedly sexually harassed by Weinstein when she first started to work as an actor.

In a post on her Instagram page on Wednesday (Oct 11), the model wrote that Weinstein had tried to get her to kiss another woman, and then tried to kiss her himself when she wanted to leave.

Delevingne had gone to a meeting with Weinstein and a director in a hotel lobby about an upcoming film but, after the director left, she said Weinstein asked her to stay and chat with him.

“As soon as we were alone, he began to brag about all the actresses he had slept with and how he had made their careers and spoke about other inappropriate things of a sexual nature," she wrote. "He then invited me to his room. I quickly declined and asked his assistant if my car was outside. She said it wasn’t and wouldn’t be for a bit and I should go to his room. At that moment I felt very powerless and scared but didn’t want to act that way hoping that I was wrong about the situation.”

Delevingne said that she was relieved to find another woman in the room, and thought she was safe, but then guess what? Weinstein then asked them to kiss. She started singing in order to get back on track with her audition and not kiss the woman.

“After singing I said again that I had to leave. He stood in front of [the door] and tried to kiss me on the lips. I stopped him and managed to get out of the room. I still got the part for the film and always thought that he gave it to me because of what happened. Since then I felt awful that I did the movie. I felt like I didn’t deserve the part. I was so hesitant about speaking out …"

The actress’s Oscar for Shakespeare in Love, which launched her career, was due in big part to Weinstein’s influence in Hollywood. But Paltrow has revealed that when she was 22, the producer had lured her to his hotel suite under the guise of a work meeting. There, he placed his hands on her and suggested they go into the bedroom for massages. “I was a kid. I was signed up; I was petrified.” Paltrow also said that she confided in her then-boyfriend Brad Pitt, who later confronted the producer. But Weinstein threatened to fire Paltrow if she wanted to pursue the matter. “He screamed at me for a long time,” she said. “It was brutal.”

The Meet Joe Black star said she escaped Weinstain’s advances five times. “I had two Peninsula Hotel meetings in the evening with Harvey and all I remember was I ducked, dived and ultimately got out of there without getting slobbered over, well just a bit. Yes, massage was suggested. The three dinners with Harvey I don't really remember the time period, I was 25. I remember him telling me all the actresses who had slept with him and what he had done for them.
I wasn't drinking the cool aid [sic], I knew Harvey was a master manipulator. He also announced to me at the last dinner I had with him at Dominic's that his pilot knew to be on standby because he could never get me to sleep with him, to which I did what I always did, make light of the situation, a joke here or there and moved on.'

I'd had a fair amount of experience. Sometimes I got angry, really angry. I wondered why I had Prey stamped on my forehead but this I kept to myself.”

About a decade ago, Weinstein allegedly took the TV reporter on a tour of his restaurant and tried to kiss her in the kitchen. When she informed him that she was in a relationship, he told her to “just stand there” and began to masturbate in front of her, ejaculating into a potted plant. When asked why she didn’t go public at the time, Sivan said, “There’s that feeling, that I’m sure so many women feel, of shame, of, ‘Perhaps I did something to give him the wrong impression.’”

The Italian model’s encounter with Weinstein is one of the few that were made public prior to the Times’s exposé. According to a police report, Battilana said Weinstein had “grabbed her breasts after asking if they were real and put his hands up her skirt.” Weinstein later claimed that Battilana had set him up. According to the Times, he “made a payment” to her after the district attorney decided not to press charges.

Asia Argento, who starred in 2002 movie xXx, said Weinstein made her give him a massage with lotion then forcibly performed oral sex on her. The Italian actress, 21 at the time, recalled how she was terrified by the “horrible trauma”. “He was so big. It wouldn’t stop. It was a nightmare. I was not willing."

“I said, ‘No, no, no!’ It’s twisted. A scary fairytale.” Afterwards she said she told Weinstein: “I am not a whore.” He laughed and said he would put those words on a T-shirt.

The French actress wrote in The Guardian that the producer had jumped on her and tried to kissed her. “We were talking on the sofa when he suddenly jumped on me and tried to kiss me. I had to defend myself. He’s big and fat, so I had to be forceful to resist him. He tried more than once. This was never going to be about work. He had other intentions – I could see that very clearly. All throughout the evening, he flirted and stared at me as if I was a piece of meat. It was hard to say no because he’s so powerful. I’m an actress and he’s a producer. We are in the same industry, so it’s impossible to avoid him. I’ve seen how he operates: the way he looks for an opening. The way he tests women to see what he can get away with. That’s the most disgusting thing. Everyone knew what Harvey was up to and no one did anything. It's unbelievable that he’s been able to act like this for decades and still keep his career.”

At the 2012 Golden Globes, the actress jokingly referred to Harvey as “God”. While she now condemns his actions, she says she was unaware of his wrongdoings. “Not everybody knew… I did not know about his financial settlements with actresses and colleagues; I did not know about his having meetings in his hotel room, his bathroom, or other inappropriate, coercive acts. And if everybody knew, I don’t believe that all the investigative reporters in the entertainment and the hard news media would have neglected for decades to write about it.”

In a statement, the actress admits to having heard about Weinstein’s alleged history of sexual behavior, but had dismissed it as gossip. “I had hoped that these kinds of stories were just made up rumours, maybe we have all been naïve. And it makes me so angry,” she said.

“It’s indefensible,” the actor said. “Harvey’s admitted to it... I’ve known Harvey for 20 years. He gave me my first big break as an actor in films like From Dusk till Dawn... We’ve had dinners, we’ve been on location together, we’ve had arguments. But I can tell you that I’ve never seen any of this behaviour — ever.”
