Hannah Quinlivan Was Allegedly Bullied In School; Says A Boy Who Sat Next To Her In Class Ate Her Eraser

Pretty privilege might be a thing, but sometimes, it can spell trouble too.

Recently, netizens unearthed an old video of Hannah Quinlivan, aka the wife of Mandopop King Jay Chou, on Taiwanese variety show Guess Guess Guess.

Back in 2008, the 32-year-old actress was merely 14 when she participated in a ‘Pretty Girl’ segment on the show.

On the show, Hannah opened up about her school days, when she was unfortunately a victim of bullying.

According to Hannah, her classmates gave her the nickname “blondie" because of her mixed heritage — she has an Australian father and her mum is of Chinese and Korean descent.

As her Chinese wasn’t very good, the young Hannah also faced communication difficulties and was placed in a remedial class.

While most would see having a doll-like appearance as a blessing, Hannah lamented that her good looks actually brought her trouble.

In fact, a boy who sat next to her even once ate her eraser. Honestly, though... why?

Of course, Hannah had her fair share of suitors, with some even going to extremes just to profess their love for her.

One of them even wrote his confessions to Hannah all over the school.

Not that it worked on Hannah.

“But he was so ugly, who would say yes?” she jokingly complained.
