Haidilao Waiter In Korea Goes Viral For Looking Like Cha Eun Woo

A Haidilao waiter in Daegu has gone viral for his uncanny resemblance K-pop idol Cha Eun Woo.

Clips of the waiter performing Haidilao’s signature noodle dance have been making the rounds online, with many netizens saying his facial features and overall vibe bear a striking resemblance to the ASTRO band member.

High praise, considering the singer-actor is famously dubbed one of South Korea’s top visuals.

The real Cha Eun Woo is currently serving his mandatory military service and is only set to be discharged in January 2027, which may explain why fans are extra eager for a “lookalike fix” in the meantime.

They have even half joked about making “pilgrimages” to the Daegu Haidilao outlet to catch a glimpse of the waiter in action.

Who knows? There might be a chance he will perform the infamous ‘ke mu san’ dance too.

That said, those planning a visit may want to check their calendars first, as he reportedly takes Tuesdays off.

Some netizens have also stepped in to remind others to respect the waiter’s privacy, given that he is just doing his job.
