Haidilao’s Most Handsome Face-Changing Performer Said To Look Like BTS’ Jungkook

Haidilao is known for more than just its hotpot — it's an entertainment experience, complete with viral dances and performances.
One of the hotpot chain's signature acts is the face-changing performance and in Taiwan, one performer has caught the internet’s attention, not just for his skill, but also for his striking good looks.
Meet Yen Shiyu, a Taichung-based performer who has been dubbed Haidilao’s most handsome face-changing artist.
Quite an achievement, considering performers only reveal their real faces at the end of their act.
Instagram user @zezongchen posted a video of Shiyu during a performance writing: “I look forward to the last face each time I watch his face-changing performance.”
In the clip, Shiyu can be seen playfully interacting — and some might even say, flirting — with diners, sending everyone into giggles.
Before leaving, Shiyu came back out to give @zezongchen a hug and take photos, making the experience all the more memorable.
Shiyu’s charm isn’t just limited to adults, he’s also great with kids, happily posing for pictures with young fans.
Handsome, talented, and good with children? Some netizens joked that he’s husband material.
Many were also charmed by Shiyu, with one swooning: “No need to change faces so often, yours is good enough.”
Some also pointed out his resemblance to BTS’ Jungkook, joking: “Is Jungkook moonlighting in Taiwan and I didn’t know about it?”
