Hongkong media recently claimed that singer Hacken Lee, 53, is planning on emigrating to the UK with his family.
According to reports, an 'insider' said that Hacken's wife, 1992 Miss Hong Kong Emily Lo, and their two sons, have already flown to the UK to "escape" Hongkong.

The news attracted a lot of attention, with many netizens wondering if Hacken was given priority in the special UK visa scheme that offers Hongkongers with a British National (Overseas) passport and their immediate dependents, a fast track to UK citizenship. The scheme was announced on January 31.
Some netizens argued that Hacken “has every right to relocate his family”, while others felt that the singer was “going to get in trouble with his Chinese fans”.

Hacken has since denied the rumours on social media, writing: “Thanks for everyone’s concern. As much as I like Manchester United, [my family] has never considered moving to the UK or anywhere else (…) I love Hongkong, and I’m proud to be a Hongkonger.”
