Hong Kong star Gillian Chung, 42, is sadly no stranger to fat-shaming comments.

Just two years ago, she was on the receiving end of some really mean remarks about her weight. Weight that she reportedly gained for a movie role.

Last year, she appeared on Sisters Who Make Waves, and became a trending topic on Weibo after losing nine kilos from all that dance training on the show.

Now, Gillian’s weight has once again become a topic of interest for netizens.

The star is currently in China to shoot gourmet reality show It Sounds Incredible.

In a behind-the-scenes clip shared by the team, Gillian, who was wearing a pink camisole, was asked to step on a scale so her weight could be recorded.

Upon hearing that request, she gave an awkward smile and self-consciously touched her stomach.

After being weighed, she grudgingly said: “Don’t announce [my weight]! I won’t be able to take it.”

Netizens later found a strangely creative way to describe her appearance in the clip.

While many said her reaction and expressions were “adorable”, others likened her to British cartoon character Peppa Pig, mostly because of the pink top she wore.

We can only imagine how quick she would be to toss that outfit in the trash.
