Gaile Lok reprimanded for being a “third party”
The model was rumoured to have wed wealthy Singaporean boyfriend
Hong Kong model Gaile Lok was recently bashed by an anonymous netizen online after she was rumoured to have gotten married in secret with her boyfriend, Singaporean businessman, Ian Chu after they moved in together last year.
According to the netizen, the 36-year-old model had come between Ian’s previous marriage with his 52-year-old ex-wife and caused them to split. Said netizen also uploaded a photo of the couple holding hands and wrote, “Your husband was a divorcee, he abandoned his ex-wife to be with you. Shameless”.
Gaile denied the allegations and clarified that she was not married. She also explained that the same netizen has been sending her hate messages from multiple accounts.
Before the model announced her relationship with Ian last year, she was married to one of the Hong Kong’s four Heavenly Kings, Leon Lai until 2012 and also dated a New Zealander, Denim until 2014.
