G-Dragon Earns $18,000 A Day From His New Café In Jeju Island

BigBang’s frontman G-Dragon might be out of sight, having enlisted into the army in February, but he’s certainly not out of mind. Fans who are missing the K-pop idol and counting down the days till he returns to the limelight (18 more months to go!) might seek solace over coffee and cake in a GD-designed café. What better way to get closer to the K-superstar than in a cafe that has signs of him everywhere, right? Though for Singaporean V.I.Ps, you might have to go the distance to do so — we’re talking a nine-hour flight from Singapore to the Jeju Shinhwa World (JSW) where G-Dragon’s spanking new café is located in a neat architectural wonder with an ever neater name. (FYI, JSW is Jeju’s Island first integrated resort that spans 2.5mil sq metres of land. The IR, which held its grand opening ceremony in March and is slated to be fully ready in 2019, houses an amusement park, a casino, a movie theatre, two theme parks, five hotels, a K-pop enclave and more.)
