First-Time Dad Wins Hearts Of Netizens When He Rushes To See Wife Instead Of Baby After She Gives Birth

When a baby is born, it's natural for everyone to flock to see the newborn for the first time. So much so that the mother, who just endured hours of labour, can sometimes be overlooked.

However, one first-time dad is winning hearts online for doing the exact opposite.

In a now-viral video, a man, presumably from China, was seen anxiously waiting outside an operating theatre while his wife gave birth. 

When the nurses finally wheeled the baby out, the rest of the family rushed to the bassinet, eager to see the newborn.

But the new dad? His eyes never left the delivery room.

He was waiting for his wife. 

The moment she was wheeled out on a gurney, he burst into tears, overwhelmed with emotion. As he hurried to her side, he wiped away his tears, visibly relieved to see her safe.

Netizens were deeply moved by his reaction, with many envious of his "very lucky" wife.
