We think Faye Wong, who in April was spotted in Hongkong looking radiant and youthful, might not be too pleased with what ex-husband Li Yapeng has revealed in a recent interview. Appearing on a popular Chinese talk show, the Chinese actor was grilled on his 2013 divorce with Faye (they were married in 2005), and he said, "I cannot avoid saying that this was a great failure of mine." According to Apple Daily, he was referring to how he's unable to give his 12-year-old daughter Li Yan a complete family. "When I see her, I am reminded of how much of a failure I am," he also said.

The confessional
Li Yapeng, who's reportedly still single, also revealed that he was unwilling to separate from the singer. When questioned by the host about how long it took for the divorce to be definite, Li thought pensively and said "about six months". “I felt really lonely during that time, but it doesn’t count for much anymore. From the moment I agreed to go our separate ways, I have already come to terms with it," he said, while holding back his tears. His statement also implied that it was Faye who suggested and insisted on the divorce. While he didn't reveal the exact reasons for the split, netizens are now wondering if it has anything to do with the rekindling of Faye's relationship with Nicholas Tse less than a year later.
