In recent photos, Li Yan was seen posing with her friends in a fitted black cropped top which showed off her slender figure. Gone is the puppy fat. Gone is the air of childlike innocence that she still had not too long ago.

Li Yan striking a pose in her new photo
China Press writes that the way Li Yan looks at the camera while casually tugging on her belt loop conjures the image of a 'sexy young thing'. Wait, wait, wait… did they forget that’s she’s only 15?!
Li Yan is also described as 'womanly', with a coolness that's 'reminiscent of her mother's'.
Nonetheless, it's still possible to dismiss this as just a bunch of giggly, noisy teenaged girls taking wefies in a public bathroom.

So she's gone and upped the ante. Li Yan has now shared vacation photos showing her stretched out on a lounge chair, in a pair of alarmingly high-cut bikini bottoms.

Parents, would you let your 15-year-old daughter pose like this?
Her tummy is adorned with a belly chain. Her pose is straight out of some men’s magazine from the noughties.
In another photo, she wears a triangle bikini top, her gaze trained over her right shoulder. The images are so overtly inappropriate that some netizens wondered if her social media account had been hacked. But when the photos remained, the conclusion was that Li Yan had uploaded them herself.
People are speculating that Li Yan's behaviour is a response to this. Well, she might not be the baby in the family anymore, but let's just hope that she's not in too much of a hurry to grow up.

Singaporeans are noticing some unusual-looking names on PayNow after a new anti-scam measure took effect on June 6. The Association of Banks in Singapore has officially discontinued PayNow nicknames, replacing them with partially masked versions of users’ registered account names. The change aims to combat impersonation scams, where scammers could previously use PayNow nicknames to pose as trusted individuals or organisations. While the update enhances security, it has also led to some unintentionally funny name displays — including one Reddit user’s encounter with a PayNow recipient named “MX TAX HOXX SHIXX”. #8dayssg #8dayssgtrending #singapore #scam #sgtiktok
Singapore’s sambar deer were once believed to be on the brink of extinction, with conservationists estimating there may have been as few as three individuals left in the late 1990s. Today, the population has rebounded to around 120 deer across forested areas including Mandai, Gali Batu and Chestnut Nature Park. The remarkable recovery has led to new discussions about wildlife management, as the species has no natural predators in Singapore and its numbers continue to grow. Often called the “ghosts of the forest” due to their elusive nature, sambar deer remain one of Singapore’s least-seen wild animals despite being the world’s third-largest deer species. According to conservationists and wildlife researchers, the challenge is no longer preventing extinction — but ensuring long-term coexistence between humans and a growing deer population. #8dayssg #8dayssgtrending #singapore #sgtiktok #endangeredspecies

A Reddit user recently shared a list of air-conditioned walking routes across Singapore that supposedly allow people to clock 10,000 to 20,000 steps in comfort. Curious, 8days decided to test one of the most popular routes — the “Classic Orchard Trench”, which runs from Somerset to Shaw House through malls and sheltered walkways. Starting with 1,470 steps and ending with 3,209 after 24 minutes, we found ourselves wondering: can Singaporeans really hit their step goals without breaking a sweat? From Orchard Road to Changi Airport and Marina Bay, these indoor walking routes are gaining attention among Singaporeans looking to stay active while avoiding the heat. #8dayssg #8dayssgtrending #walking #singapore #weather
