Here's another superstar whose behaviour at the airport has everyone praising them for being down-to-earth.

Faye Wong, 53, is no stranger to the occasional airport sighting

The pop diva, who had just returned from her Europe trip with her 16-year-old daughter Li Yan, was spotted 'squeezing' with other travellers on a crowded airport shuttle in China.

According to a netizen who shared snaps of the star, Faye just landed from her flight from Milan.

She was very low-key and did not have an entourage with her. Despite her superstar status, she did not ask for special treatment and squeezed on the bus with other passengers.

Though Faye was casually dressed in a beige trench coat and wore a face mask, she was instantly recognisable and seemed unbothered that she was being photographed.

“She was goddess-like and beautiful,” said the fan, adding that the pics had not been retouched.

Taking the bus just like everyone else

Other netizens soon joined the praise parade for Faye, leaving comments such as: "The queen is low-key and goes about on her own", "Faye Wong is real and pure”, and "The goddess looks really good".

Faye, who has a reported net worth of HK$2bil (S$340mil), is known to be down-to-earth.

She has been seen dining at street stalls, and unlike Li Yan, who has a penchant for designer togs, casual jeans and tee are Faye’s preferred OOTD.

And her fave bag? A black backpack from Jansport which she has been spotted toting on multiple occasions, most recently when she was photographed holding hands with boyfriend Nicholas Tse.

According to reports, Faye has been a fan of the US$65 (S$87) bag since 2014.

She previously carried a red one before switching to the black in 2019.

Another affordable bag that she favours is this yellow clutch which reportedly cost less than HK$30 (S$11).
