Fan Bingbing Releases Heartfelt Video On Her Birthday; Brings Fans To Tears

There was little to no fanfare on Bingbing’s birthday on September 16, with the actress only changing her Weibo avatar to a cartoon version of herself along with an animation post which said, “It’s my birthday, wish me a Happy Birthday!” Next to her caricature was a cake with a two candles as well as number 18 candle, which we guess adds up to 38?

The next day, her agency posted photos of the gifts Bingbing received, along with the caption: “Thank you everyone for the presents and love. She’s really happy on her birthday.”

On September 18, her fan club uploaded a video of Bingbing thanking her supporters and sponsors for the gifts, and the clip apparently moved her fans so much that many of them cried while watching it.

In the 8-min vid, which also happened to be Bingbing’s “first vlog”, the actress held up a book, titled Our Book, which was a compilation of pictures and letters from fans who had stood by her despite all the controversies she's been through over the years.

“I came into the company today and saw many presents on the table. I received and opened all of your heartfelt gifts, but Our Book caught my eye,” a mellow Bingbing said. “This deserves a shoutout on my first vlog. It’s a very meaningful thing that I would like to share with you all."

“Even though I haven’t been uploading many selfies on Weibo, I have something to say to you guys. I just want to let you know that I’ve been with you every step of the way. I read every letter and every word. I know what you guys want to say to me. I’ve received all your love and encouragement,” she continued.

As she flipped through the book, she also acknowledged how she had “been through some unimaginable things” over the past year before adding that she would continue to “persevere” and do her best.

At the end of the vid, Bingbing thanked her fans again and told them that she loves them. “Thank you for giving me this best present this year,” she beamed.
