Ex TVB Actor Wilson Lam, 61, Once Called One Of “Hongkong’s Most Handsome Men”, Age Shamed By Netizens
He left showbiz in 1996 to focus on his business but started a Douyin account this year.
It’s been a while since we’ve got a glimpse of ‘80s TVB heartthrob Wilson Lam Jun Yin.
The 61-year-old, who first joined showbiz in 1983, hit it big four years later with the drama, The Foundling’s Progress.
The success of the show and Wilson's subsequent works soon propelled him to join the ranks of other A-listers like Stephen Chow, Tony Leung, Leon Lai, Lau Ching Wan, and Deric Wan.
Named as one of the top actors in TVB then, Wilson also enjoyed fame as “one of Hongkong's most handsome men”, a title which was bestowed upon him by the media and audiences.
However, he retired from acting in 1996, to focus on his business.
Since then, he has largely stayed out of the spotlight. In 2014, he staged his acting comeback with the movie, The Suspicious.
And recently, it seems like he’s hopped on the social media bandwagon, with his very own Douyin account, which was created in March this year.
