Not content with being a delivery guy forever, Yibo decided to take advantage of his unique situation. He quit his job and took out his savings to undergo multiple cosmetic surgeries that made him look virtually indistinguishable from the real Nicholas.

Yibo didn’t just copy the star’s physical appearance — he watched videos of Nic every day to study the latter’s mannerisms, and soon began speaking and behaving exactly like him.

With his ‘transformation’ complete, Yibo began participating in variety shows and celebrity impersonation competitions (which are apparently a very hot thing in China), where he found fame as “Nicholas Tse’s twin brother”.

He then changed his name to Yifeng (FYI: Nic’s Chinese name is Xie Tingfeng).

Still, the very forward-thinking Yifeng knew that he needed a more long-term career plan and set his sights on other, more stable ventures.

With the money he made from his showbiz activities as Nic’s doppelgänger, Yifeng launched his own company and became the boss of his own team of celebrity impersonators, who have gone on to perform in various parts of the country.

The business has been so wildly successful that Yifeng reportedly became a “millionaire” at the age of 25.
